For Sale: 1963 Ford Galaxie Fastback (blue, modified, 390ci V8, 4-speed manual)
This 1963 Ford Galaxie two-door hardtop fastback was acquired in 2007 by the seller, who tells us it was purchased from the original owner. It has since been refurbished, customized, and rebuilt. The 390ci V8 was rebuilt with .030″-over pistons, a solid-lifter camshaft, an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, and a Holley 750cfm carburetor. It is linked to a rebuilt four-speed Toploader manual transmission and a 9″ rear end with 3.50 gears and Moser 31-spline axles. The suspension was overhauled and a front sway bar and disc brakes were installed along with CalTracs traction bars, and the body was repainted metallic blue with metallic gray trim.
