2025 Ford Mustang GT / Dark Horse
In 2025, it seems like the Ford Mustang is the last bastion of the traditional muscle car. The Chevrolet Camaro is gone, and the Dodge Challenger has focused more towards electric and inline-6 power than traditional V8s. So, it makes a lot of sense that Ford would still offer a manual transmission option on the Mustang.
The Mustang GT and Mustang Dark Horse both have a 6-speed manual transmission available, alongside Ford's standard 10-speed automatic. In the GT, the manual is made by Getrag, while in the Dark Horse, it's made by Tremec. Both of these variants are powered by the 5-liter Coyote V8.
