Man Steals 2025 Ford Mustang GT at Gunpoint During Test Drive, Leaves Driver's License Behind
The suspect reportedly only had about 90 minutes with the muscle car before authorities found him and placed him under arrest.
A Texas man has been arrested after allegedly stealing a brand-new 2025 Ford Mustang GT in the middle of a test drive. According to a report by 12 News based out of Beaumont, Texas, the suspect made the case easy for the police, as he happened to leave behind a vital bit of evidence at the dealership: his driver's license.
According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place on June 20 at about 2:07 pm; the suspect was test-driving a new Mustang GT from Silsbee Ford and according to authorities, the suspect pulled a gun on the car salesman and made off with the new pony car.
