Ford Quietly Reveals Mustang FP800S Bronze Package With More Power Than Dark Horse
Ford has a habit of showing its wildest Mustang ideas in Las Vegas, then going quiet until it’s ready to pull a thread. Back at the 2023 SEMA Show, the automaker rolled out the original FP800S concept, which was a GT-based package built around a 3.0-liter Whipple blower, half-shaft upgrades, a lowering kit, a Borla Extreme exhaust, and assorted trim tweaks meant to preview future performance parts. That car was loud in every sense. Its follow-up, however, arrived with barely a whisper.
This new FP800S Bronze MagneRide Package Concept recently appeared on the Ford Custom Garage site with no fanfare, no teaser campaign, and certainly no invitation for Dark Horse owners to notice that it could make more power than their $80,000 cars.
