Ford's Next Big Street-Legal Performance Car Set to Debut on January 15, 2026
Ford Racing boss Mark Rushbrook calls the upcoming product "a testament to how deeply we’re integrating our racing innovation into the vehicles you drive every day."
Ford Racing, the division of the Dearborn-based automaker formerly known as Ford Performance, is set to hold its annual season launch in Detroit on January 15th. The event should feature big news for the brand's racing pursuits, including a 2026 livery reveal for both of Red Bull's two Ford-aligned Formula 1 teams. The biggest news, however, might wind up being on the road car side.
In a recent blog post, Ford Racing boss Mark Rushbrook said that the event would feature a "sneak peek" look at an "all-new Ford Racing production road car." In other words, the mid-January event will feature a new look at some new road-going performance model that should actually reach customers.
