For Sale: 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe (burgundy, modified, 289ci V8, 3-speed auto)
This 1965 Ford Mustang coupe was refurbished and modified during previous ownership and spent time in Georgia and South Carolina before it was acquired by the selling dealer in Florida in October 2021. Power is provided by a replacement 289ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and the car is finished in burgundy over a black vinyl interior. Modifications include a trunk-mounted fuel cell, 15″ and 17″ American Racing wheels, Caltracks traction bars, tubular exhaust headers, front disk brakes, sub-frame reinforcement bars, a cowled hood, and exterior-mounted gauges. Service in preparation for the sale is said to include a tune-up, oil change, and replacing the tires. This first-generation modified Mustang coupe is now offered by the selling dealer in Florida with historical documents, partial service records, and a clean South Carolina title.
