For Sale: 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback (turquoise, K-Code, 289ci V8, 4-speed)

This 1965 Ford Mustang fastback is a K-code example that was purchased by its previous owner in Iowa and was overhauled cosmetically and mechanically, with work completed around 2008. The fenders, quarter panels, and floors were replaced before the car was refinished in turquoise, and a replacement powertrain was sourced and rebuilt. The 289ci V8 is paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and additional features include 15″ wheels, front disc brakes, electronic ignition, dual exhaust, and a Hurst shifter. The seller acquired the car in 2014 and has since added approximately 6k miles. This first-generation Mustang fastback is now offered with the removed points ignition system, two uninstalled factory AM radios, and a clean South Dakota title in the seller’s name.
