For Sale: 1964-1/2 Ford Mustang Convertible (white, 289ci V8, 3-speed auto)

This Ford Mustang is an early-production D-code convertible that was completed on June 15, 1964 and sold to its original owner by Marsh-Wimbush Ford of Denver, Colorado before spending time in Illinois and Georgia. Power is from a rebuilt replacement 289ci V8 paired with a C4 automatic transmission, and a reported 4k miles have been driven on the rebuilt drivetrain since the seller’s purchase in 2016. The car underwent extensive sheet metal repairs in 1992 and a repaint in 2006. Equipment includes power steering, an AM radio, a motorized convertible top, exterior décor group trim, spinner hubcaps, and other equipment described on the original window sticker. Disc brakes, dual exhausts, a Holley carburetor and a Rally-Pac have been added. This Mustang is offered with a window sticker, records from 1992 onward, an owner’s manual, and a clean Georgia title in the seller’s name.
