For Sale: 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible (Diamond Blue, J-Code, 302ci V8, 3-speed auto)

This 1968 Ford Mustang convertible was sold new at Frank Cate Ford in Elk Grove, California, and the original owner reportedly sold it in 1980 to a person who kept the car in the Sacramento area for another 37 years. Its 302ci J-code V8 has a four-barrel carburetor and is paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car has been refinished in its factory-delivered Diamond Blue, and the two-tone blue interior is complemented by a Parchment soft top. Other features include backdated styled steel wheels, a Philco AM radio, dual exhaust, power-assisted tilt steering, and power brakes with front discs. The seller acquired the car in 2019 and has since changed the oil. This second-generation Mustang is now offered with black California license plates, receipts and records since the 1980s, manufacturer’s literature, an Elite Marti report, and a clean California title.
