For Sale: 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Convertible "Continuation Series" (1 of 12, supercharged 289ci V8, 3-speed auto)

This 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 is one of 12 convertibles built as part of a continuation series produced by Carroll Shelby and Beverly Hills Mustang owner J. Brunk between 1980 and 1982, and is one of four examples sold to members of the general public. Chassis 6S2389 is finished in Wimbledon White with blue Le Mans stripes and a dark blue convertible top over a white Pony interior, and is said to be the sole example optioned with a Paxton supercharger. It was ordered by a Seattle, Washington couple and remained with them until 1995. The car was then retained by a dealer until 2012, when it joined the current owner’s private collection in Idaho. Power is provided by a 289ci HiPo V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and both the engine and supercharger were rebuilt in 2014. This continuation GT350 was driven by the current owner in the 2014 Sun Valley Road Rally, and is now offered on dealer consignment with a copy of the original purchase contract and specifications sheet, a 1982 Washington inspection form, 1995 correspondence from an “S Shelby,” records from the 2014 engine rebuild, and a clean Idaho title.
