For Sale: 1989 Ford Mustang Saleen "Impressor" Stage II (Oxford White, 5.0L V8, 5-speed, 65K miles)
This 1989 Ford Mustang Saleen is one of approximately 100 Saleen models ordered by John Bleakley Ford of Lithia Springs, Georgia, and fitted with the Bleakley “Impressor” performance package between 1987 and 1990. This example was fitted with the Stage II “Impressor” package, which specified a deleted intake silencer, a K&N air filter, Walker DynoMax mufflers, a 160-degree thermostat, a 65mm throttle body, 1.72-ratio roller rocker arms, larger rear tires, Champion spark plug wires, and an SSC-style roll bar.
The car is finished in Oxford White over a Medium Grey cloth interior and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission. It was first registered in Tennessee and later resided in Virginia, South Carolina, and California before the seller purchased it in 2004. Additional modifications and equipment include 17″ Cobra-style wheels, a Griggs rear suspension package, Maximum Motorsports subframe connectors, caster/camber plates, Koni double-adjustable coilovers, Baer Brakes rotors and calipers, and an MSD ignition controller.
This Saleen “Impressor” Stage II Mustang is now offered with its window sticker, Bleakley Ford and Saleen literature, service records, R134a retrofit and air conditioning overhaul components, a pair of wiper arms, its removed front spindles, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
