When I was in high school, the sound of these Mustangs had me hooked. It’s unique, this big V-8 in this tiny car. I’ve always wanted one, but time got away from me and I forgot about them.
When I got married, I wanted to get a car. You always hear stories about older couples and the car they drove as newlyweds. I saw one of these on the road. It reminded me of my childhood, and it was a car that my wife and I could both enjoy. The convertible wasn’t my first choice. I wanted the notchback or the hatchback, but this one had really good pictures on Craigslist, so I went down and looked at it. I put the top down and it felt good. Nobody has the convertibles. Nobody really modifies the convertibles. Plus, I love the red interior. Black has no flavor. Red has a timeless racing feel. The car is different.
