Asking The Right Questions When Shopping For A Used Car... When you're shopping pre-owned private-party vehicles, it's easy to look one over and kick the tires. But how do you really learn the good, bad, and potentially ugly about your incipient purchase? It's simple: Ask the right questions. Use the checklist below, and at minimum, you'll learn the who, what, where, when, why, and how. ● How long have you owned the vehicle? ● Did you buy it new? ● What's the mileage?
